Rotary Cutter Land Pride RCR1872

Picked up my 1872 today and put it straight to work for 2 straight hours. Works GREAT!! In tall grass, it cuts smooth and LOW. Does excellent in 1-2 year old brush as well as some sweet gum saplings.
Hope to get back on the tractor tomorrow or Wednesday for some more cutting.

Got 2 more hours then I will tighten the slip clutch bolts and check the oil. It will be in the morning before I can do both. Pics will be posted as soon as I can!

I have been very pleased with what mine will do and how smooth it cuts.

Is there an issue with the gearbox? I guess I'll check the oil just to be safe.

I had an RCR1660 when I lived in PA. Great cutter and I wish I could have brought it...

Doc, is that tailwheel fork a 3-piece welded assembly? I have an RCR1860 with the miserable double-bent, one-piece bar stock design. If so, yours has a good improvement for durability.
