I have a 5205 john deer tractor . when i tried to start it today it blew the 30amp F1 key switch fuse twice. any thoughts??

I found the answer to my problem in a simular thread suggested below. I unplugged the failed thermostate sensor , put in another new fuse and she fired right up. I guess I will get a replacement sensor but for now we are working tomorrow. the bad news is I broke the fuse panel cover trying to remove it.

Where is the fuse box on a John Deere 5205? I think I may have the same problem. The temp dropped 15 degrees and now the tractor won't start. I searched the 'net but did not find location information and how to get to it.
First, let me confess that I am new to owning a tractor. I ordered the manual but it hasn't arrived yet.
Are John Deere fuses common automotive 20 and 30 amp fuses OR are they something unique to John Deere tractors?

They are common fuses, my 5303 would start in 30 degree temps with the sensor unplugged. My 3 previous tractors disn't need CSA to start & it's a $40 part, not sure about all these newer tractors these days.

On starting looking at the section on Cold Weather Starting Procedure Using Intake Air Heater System-If Equipped. If you do not have one you may want to get one and maybe also consider purchasing a block heater.
The fuses are common automotive fuses.

My problem is a fuel solenoid sensor issue - and yes, that fuse was being blown every time a new one was installed and the key turned on.
And the solution was to follow the steps given - turn the key off, disconnect the electrical line to the sensor, replace the fuse and she fired up on the first attempt.
As the original poster stated, I too broke one of the plastic panels - I am not sure if it is the same panel - the panel I broke was the panel below the instrument panel that the starter key is attached to - I was surprised that I would need to unscrew a panel to get to replaceable fuses.
Please accept my appreciation, all of your help is greatly appreciated
