No one's ragging on him; we're all just fed up with him ragging on Kioti for things that are not their fault. If he can't afford to transport the tractor for warranty repairs maybe he can't afford to own any tractor. Someone offered to transport it for him- no response-
He didn't say no.. he just gave an ambiguous response. We have since had more communications and as soon as my trailer is ready, and we both have time, I am going to transport it for him. As posted previously, he and I are trying to get our schedules to match up so I can take a look at his tractor so maybe we don't have to transport it. But so far we have not been able to work things out.

Slashed tires upon delivery should have been handled by NOT receiving the tractor.
True, except that selling dealer dropped off tractor when nobody was home to receive it on a day the dealer was told not to deliver it because nobody was going to be home.

Anyone else here besides the OP ever wait a month to get a part?
Any part I have ever ordered was sent to my door in 3 to 4 days. And overnight shipping is usually available if your willing to pay the extra $$ in shipping.

My DK45SE HST has been in the shop since May 20. I had a hydraulic fluid leak I couldn't trace to source. I had to have the dealer try to find it. The dealer waited 3 weeks for a part and it didn't solve the problem. Now almost 2 months later, still waiting for the next part. I admit its a bigger part than an ignition switch, but all the same Kioti distribution isn't well stocked on everything. And no...the tractor is not a lemon, just something that needs to be fixed and is under warranty.

I will add to this kioti parts issue. My 2011 John deere X740 had a parts issue this past spring. My wait time was 2-3 weeks so I guess it,s not just a kioti parts issue?coobie

Did you buy from Medina Tractor?

I know someone with a new Deere Gator 855 Diesel that has spent more time in the shop than at their place. It randomly engages/disengages 4wd when it feels like it. New harness didn't fix it, now a whole new front axle assembly is on the way and they have a loaner Gator HPX with a "fishbowl" glass cab...
Makes the cold idle issues on the Mule that it replaced seem minor.

Yes. Sales side of the house was good. Service side has had ups and downs but I don't think they've sold Kioti long enough to know all the ins and outs. Just my opinion.

I seem to remember he said he did not want to take up your offer because he'd wanted to pay you- which he said he can't afford to at this time. That's not ambiguous, seems pretty detailed for the OP. He never responded in any way for my offer to come look at the 'lemon' tractor.

Delivery may have been when no one was home, BUT anyone could have slashed his tires at anytime regardless if he had been home to receive the tractor. Just the way someone stole his winch just after he installed it. Seems like someone in the neighborhood has it in for him and his tractor?
And slashed tires has nothing to do with Kioti brand or his selling dealer specifically, IMHO.
I hope you do get to look at it and show us some pics and your take on what is wrong with it.
I for one would like to see this tractor issue solved once and for all for all concerned about it's outcome.

Steve is the best repair guy they got and Mike is the man for sales.
