2110
When I have an implement on the 3 point, the tractor will lift it great (@ idle) before it warms up. Once the tractor gets warmed up, I have to increase the rpms to get the implement to raise. An hour or so later, I will not be able to raise the implement half the height as I could before the tractor warmed up. Any ideas??? Thanks.

This is the 2110 compact series (1984)

You do know that hyd fluid gets thinner as it heats up.

It is common for cold fluid to make things work better than when hot.

You might try a fluid designed for your operating environment.

You might also have some worn parts that fluid is bypassing.

Yes, I am aware of the viscosity changes. Just don't understand why at start up I can fully lift implement at an idle, then 30 minutes later not be able to lift implement half the height at WOT. I am going to change fluid and filter to see if that helps. Thanks for the suggestions.

You might also take some pressure readings to help trouble shoot the problem.

Any idea what the readings should be?

A manual would be most helpful.

Contact the FORD tractor dealership, and they should be able to tell you the relief pressure.

Where on the hydraulic line do I need to test the pressure?

If you have a loader and QD, just plug the gage into one of the QD's.

If you want to permanently mount the hyd gage, insert it in a tee in the IN port of the loader valve.

If no loader, find a fitting just after the pump and mount the gage in a tee in the pressure line.

What about using one of the rear remotes?

Any port you can apply pressure to, will work.

make sure you have a 3000 or so, psi gauge. nothing under that. and notheing too big or it will be ahrd to read real pressure. IE.. no 10k gauges..e tc.

I finally took a pressure reading today. 2,200 psi at the rear remote. I went ahead and changed the fluid and filter. I am still having the same problem. Any ideas? Also, as soon as I shut the engine down, the 3 pt drops (load or no load). Seems like it should take a little while to leak down???

I had a 2110, but also had similar models and can't remember if there was a suction screen on it for the hydraulics . Look at a parts drawing online and if it has one it's under a 3 bolt cover on the side of the transmission.

If you are reading 2200 psi at the remotes and the lift drops quickly when the tractor is turned off, it sure sounds like a leaky lift cylinder seal. I would reseal that lift cylinder (easy to get to right under your seat) and then see what happens. To test the lift cylinder, raise the lift all the way up and then turn your drop speed adjustment to off (clockwise). If the lift still drops, it's most likely the seal. There's a remote chance that the high pressure relief in the cylinder is stuck open or leaking, but that's a remote possibility. It sounds like you just have worn out lift cylinder seals.

Already took it off and cleaned.

Thanks allot. I will go check. Is the lift cylinder seals o-rings? gaskets?

3 pt dropping after engine is shut off could be leaking rockshaft piston seals as previously stated or RS control valves leaking or thermal relief valve leaking.

Just turned the drop speed off and it still dropped.
