CM, I'm not quoting your post because it's just going to be deleted, just like your rant in the other thread, not that this response will probably make it through anyway. I'm not sure why LaK has ruffled your feathers so much. I think you've stated your opinion and it's time to bow out gracefully at this point.

I find LaK a very interesting guy. I looked at his website (he previously posted a link) and the stuff that he can do is incredible. He has previously posted that he had a brain injury which is responsible for some "typo's" in his posts, but in other areas, he's got more talent and skill than the rest of us combined. I have no reason to doubt his stories and I wish him well with everything going on in his life. I disagree with his approach to dealing with his tractor issues, but understand his frustrations.

KK, you're entitled to your opinion, and it is not my 'rant' as you refer to it, that was deleted, it is what lak posted about me that had already been deleted, but had already shown up in my mailbox, that I re-posted to address directly; and someone flagged that post, probably because what lak said about me which had already been censored- for good reason.
His having a brain injury does not give him or anyone carte blanc with saying whatever he wants here whenever the spirit moves him.
You may believe he is the most talented guy on earth, 'who possesses more talent than the rest of us combined'; (highly unlikely), but even if true, that has nothing to do with tractors, obviously, and is no excuse for his relentless slamming of the Kioti brand to all who will listen. He has not in any way shape or form spent the last six months working on that tractor to get it started; by his own admission he has spent time with his daughter and her issues. So it's either truth or it's not there is no maybe about what he states. He contradicts himself constantly, which anyone reading these threads he starts can easily discern.
I can assure you when he bows out of relentlessly slamming everything about Kioti, I will move on to other things too. Until then, his issues with Kioti will continue to get addressed here by me and others who don't buy into his...fill in the blanks.

Why not state what it is YOU disagree with on his TRACTOR issues; maybe he might hear what YOU have to say.

As an aside, let's not forget I came to help you with your struggle with your Deere and Kioti CK machine and strongly recommended you not give up on the brand. I tried my level best to give you good advice and help you see that what you needed was a DK series Kioti instead of the model you had at the time. My point in mentioning this is I am willing and dedicated to taking my time and knowledge to help Kioti tractor owners see what is good about the brand, and when necessary what might better suit them. I ended up trading for some large amount of hit to my wallet within a year from my DK-35 to the current DK-40, which has served me well. I try to pass that lesson in tractor selection/sizing on to others so they won't make the same preventable mistake.

CM, I don't think anybody though we was under his tractor constantly for 6 straight months and we all contradict ourselves in posts, hopefully, without even realizing it, I know a few of mine have been kindly pointed out to me. We type our thoughts a lot of the time instead of writing, reviewing and editing our posts and that leads to inaccuracies, but they don't mean a person is insincere or intentionally trying to device us. For instance, you were involved in one of my thread that took on a life of it's own where I was frustrated about my constant issues with my CK 30, but I wasn't a member of TBN when I owned my JD, hence my screen name. That error in your statement above doesn't mean anything other than we've chatted a lot about a bunch of things and they all get confused and we make mistakes.

From the time LaK joined TBN and wanted to contact Kioti directly about his issues, I advised against it. I told him the approach that I would take and told him I would get him past the dreaded "Connie" gate keeper if all else failed. Coming out of the gate so strong without following the proper path is probably a big factor in having problems resolving his current issues. That is how I disagree with how he is handling his tractor issues.

I don't know why you care if people slam Kioti. Do you work for them? People are all entitled to their opinions and they're based on their experiences. Maybe his opinion is justified based on his experience, I don't know.

Last point, yes, this is a tractor forum, but I've discussed just about every topic I care to and then some. I've learned to keep my mouth shut about some things and read other completely off (tractor) topic threads out of curiosity or interest. People post about everything here because it becomes a community to them. I don't know why you're attacking LaK for it (not just in this thread either)

KK, In your CK-30 thread you talked about your JD tractor and what it had been like with owning it, otherwise how would I know about you're even owning one? I referred to the general dilemma you had been having with your then current CK and previous JD.

Why do I care if people, this person in particular slam the Kioti brand?! Really, Ken? First, I don't work for them or anyone else but for myself.
Second a seemingly now starter solenoid 'inard' bolt does NOT make for a defective, 'lemon' tractor, nor does an ignition switch, or a minor hydraulic leak. These are all what gets repaired under the warranty, which we all pay for when we buy new.
Third, it is bad for potential new buyers who come here to see what people have to say about their tractors. remember, 'bad news travels fast?'. It's true and many may not give Kioti a second look. Ask yourself if you had been reading the posts of the person we're discussing if you would have been inclined to try a different model Kioti to solve YOUR problems with your undersized CK-30?
NOT one thing lak has posted about that actually pertains to his tractor is Kioti's fault, nor his selling dealer's nor the other numerous dealers he has involved in his, "I'm entitled to a new tractor delusional ravings."
The AG of any state would laugh their face off when seeing what he claims vs. the reality of the 'problems' with his 'lemon'. You said it yourself his approach to issue resolution is all wrong. No kidding- the results of his approach speak for themselves.
I'm not attacking anyone- that rhetoric is overblown and incendiary in this venue.
As stated, when he ends his diatribe about how he got burned from day one to now with his Kioti tractor, I will be done with discussing it too. People entitled to our opinions, right? Or is that selective people and their off the wall, based on no evidence whatsoever opinions?
Facts talk, everything else walks, or fades away.

So some light is shed on the 'lemon' tractor. Now the starting problem is a bad starter solenoid 'inard' bolt, which ALL mechanics to date, from everywhere somehow missed, and THIS definately makes it a LEMON, NO questions asked, right?!

And the OP couldn't finish his sentence due to seizures, yet he could take and post pics of his fluid leaks.:confused2::confused3:

Somewhere in the midst of all this he seems to make a promise to not post anymore about this: "But I won't post on here..."
Is this for real? No more 'lemon' tractor posts, mixed in with the, "working on it EVERYDAY for six months..." falsehoods?! I for one can't wait for no more posts about this tractor, the retreat that is STILL 'getting started' and everything that goes along with the whole situation. Maybe, just maybe, this forum can get back to the purpose it was intended for: ACTUALLY FIXING TRACTORS.
Here's hoping :pawprint:

My wife keeps a ledger for the camps board of directors and told the time the tractor has been down in the first year. She would have to call and cancel dump truck bring gravel over.
When Whittemore came it was the dead of winter cold as **** when they came and replaced parts so I don't blame him for missing it. Kioti corp would just tell me to jiggle wires and unplug and plug back in to get it to start. When we were dealing with kioti with it the first day of getting it which I was spouse to sign on deliver which I was not here and had gadgets in the tire and I also told them I could smell hydo fluid and not to worry and that I had a hard time getting it in med range.
You have gave me a hard time from my first post so why would I take you up on any help. KK thanks for your help I did try to do it the right way with out involving any out side help. It's kind of like the tires after a month of runaround with kioti my wife's law firm she works for calls and sends a letter and gee what happens we get new tires. I don't like the run around crap company's trying to pass the buck as my grandfather would say they don't stand behind there products like they use to. Like my grandfather bought three ford long tractors had one go down the they came out fixed it and gave him a year supply of oil filters for the trouble.

Nathan;

Are congratulations in order?
I must have nodded off. Did you say "My wife keeps a ledger for the camps board of directors"? Does this mean the road is in and the camp has been built? Well done. Please post pictures when possible.
When Kioti Corp suggested that you "jiggle wires and unplug and plug back in to get it to start." they may have been trying to help you isolate an intermittent problem. You know, if it doesn't start, and you wiggle the yellow wire and it starts, it might be related to the yellow wire. I'll bet the person you were talking to was honestly trying to help you, and the suggestions were based on the information you were able to provide at the time.

IXLR8 and Coyote Machine both offered to drive to your home and help you. I think they are good people with good intentions and both wanted to help you get back on the road. I know you don't need them now, since the Kubota mechanic fixed the problem, but I would be grateful to have them in my corner.

Anyway, I'm glad that Anna Claire is cancer free, your tractor is back on the road, and your camp is underway or complete. Congrats.

<snip> "I don't like the run around crap company's trying to pass the buck....

So far as I can discern there has been no run around crap as you put it from anyone, except possibly Connie, at Kioti Corp, and she's been gone for quite a while. How is it you tried to do it right, without anyone's help? I'm not saying asking for or being offered help from people here at TBN is not the right way, so don't bother going there.
I gave you a hard time from your first post? Seems you had a lot to say about somehow knowing I wasn't a 'true Vermonter' in your opinion, and a LOT of other nasty derogatory stuff as well over a long period of time. The difference is, I'm willing to offer you a hand to get your tractor fixed in spite of our banter here on TBN. You think I'm the bad guy, that's fine. So you're tractor is now fixed by the Kubota wrench? Or it's still broken? I get the hydraulic leak needs to be attended to, but is there something else now that it starts like it should? Is it still a 'lemon' or has it been upgraded to a new tractor which needs service under warranty, just like any of our Kioti's might?!:confused2:
