1531 or 1528 and wheel spacers

Has anyone added wheel spacers to their 1531 or 1528, and if so how thick, and have you had any problems?

What tires are currently on yours?

I have R4's on the 1531. The front tread measure 53.5" outside tire to outside tire while the rear measures 48" outside to outside
