I don't trust my welds to have 10 tons on them rolling down the highway so I took it to a semi chassis shop to have it lifted. They used 2"x4" tubing and gussets to lift the camper 4" on torsion axles.

I realize why you did it but to me it look3d better before. Too much wheel well and now the tires look too small.

I like your entire rig. Its a really nice looking truck, what year is it?

My 5th wheel looks same; axles flipped. It was that way when I got it. But, my stock RAM2500 sits tall enough that if not for the axle flip the 5th wheel would be really low in back. It would also have bad clearance to the top of the bed at the tailgate. It shows a LOT of wheelwell...

Newer 5th wheels seem designed to make up for the taller trucks(mine is a '98).

Yeah, it doesn't look as good but it got old scraping the back end. Coming home frome Michigan we pulled out of a tractor supply and scraped so bad all six tires were off the ground! The Cummins grunted that day.

Who built the trailer? Dexter advises against using torsion axles in triples. Something about the torsion axles are okay with double loading but triple loading is out.

Storm Trailers out of Ft. Wayne Indiana. Most of the race haulers are triple axle/torsion to get clearance on the inside for vehicles. They need to sit level to get all three axles loaded evenly, another reason to lift the trailer with my high truck.

Good idea and I think it all looks perfect---Including the perfect 90 degree angle in your grass/driveway---A little picky?:D--razzing you obviously.

Very nice setup. Totally dig the front bumper. I like my trailers to set level also. The extra height is nice on inclines. Less worry about dragging the rear of the trailer.

That is a sweet looking setup! I like the lift, and I'm not crazy about lifted trucks. I hope you actually use it though and it's not just a highway queen :)

What is the trailer for? Is it a toy hauler? Any inside pics?

Thanks guys :) Trucks an 08 with just under 25k miles on the clock. For only two acres I have a stupid amount of gravel! It is between 400 and 500 tons

We use it as a toyhauler and haul my Jeep in the back. It has 20' of camper and 28' of garage. With my Jeep being only 13' long we put a couch and a 60" TV in the front of the garage for a "lounge"

Wood TV mount has been painted since this pic

Nice looking setup all the away around. What do you do with the Jeep? Several years ago we went on vacation in Michigan and we rented a jeep in the western part of the state in the sand dunes. They don't just cut you loose with the thing but kind of take you on a tour, but you do get to play around a little bit in the sand. I have to admit it was a blast.

We take the Jeep to a Jeep Jamboree in French Lick, IN and take it to wheeling spots around the state. We also go to the sand dunes in MI (Silver Lake). When we go to the dunes we take the Jeep and my quad. We did the same thing and rented a Jeep in Silver Lake (Sandy Corners) and that's what started our Jeeping adventure. I now have my TJ Wrangler and my wife has a 4 door JK Wrangler :). We also just go camping with the trailer and take the Jeep along to use as a golf cart in the campground and explore the area outside the campground.

Yeah, silver lake is where we went. I just noticed the sticker on the inside of your trailer in one of the photos.

Very nice truck and trailer set up! Can you post some pictures of your jeep? My wife and I have a TJ with a mild lift, they are a lot of fun.

Nothing new to add, but wow. Quite the rig and setup.

I am frequently amazed at the wealth some of you gents on here display.
