Hello

I bought John Deere (Yanmar) engine with hydraulic pumps attached directly to the engine. I don't have much experience with John Deere or pumps and would like to know what are the parts and where (what JD model) this could be from. With the JD model, I could try to find some manuals or specifications.

Engine is Yanmar 3TNE74 and it has John Deere model number 3010D001 on it. Radiator has manufacturing year 1999, so this should be somewhere around 1999-2000.
Hydraulic pumps are most likely Bosch, because the backplate after the pumps has text "Bosch" on it.

After the engine, I can see two green parts, but I don't know what those are. First one has lever, I think it could be some kind of clutch. Lever also has optical sensor which senses the lever position (of/off).
At the bottom of this Lever-part, there seems to be place for hydraulic hose.

Then, after the Lever-part, there is the other green part. I don't know what that is. In the bottom side, it has one smaller place for hydraulic hose just as the Lever-part. Then, it has input/output connectors for hydraulic oil.
Could this part be hydraulic pump?

After the two green parts, there seems to be two hydraulic pumps. First one has maybe 1 inch input and both have smaller outputs, maybe 3/8 inch.
I guess these pumps are connected so that the suction in only in the first pump and pressure outputs are on both pumps.

The gray connection "plate" between engine and the green Lever-part is made by "KTR Kupplungstechnik GMBH D-48407", which is located in the Germany. So, this Engine+pumps could be something that is sold only in Europe, I don't know.
I bought it from Europe.

Any help or ideas to identificate this are appreciated, I could not find any usable information from google.

It looks like you have three pumps, one green variable speed pump and two gear pumps.

If Bosch built this for John Deere it may be proprietary to John Deere and make identifying these pumps very difficult. Any idea what type of equipment this was used on?

Thank you for the answer.

So maybe the lever adjusts the flow/pressure, I tried to move the lever and it moves easily with one finger, not like clutch which would be much harder to move.

I have no idea. Maybe some kind of mini excavator, engine has about 24HP, so nothing big.

John Deere ProGator 2030 has the Yanmar 3TNE74 engine but I think that those are not fully hydraulic. And engine is too clean, there is no dust on anything, ProGators would collect dust more.

Do you know what kind of equipment could have hydraulic transmission only, with variable speed/displacement pump + gear pumps on it?
My knowledge on JD or hydraulics is very limited.

The VSP looks similar to the one on my Power-Trac which has Ford industrial engine turning one VSP with one gear pump piggybacked.

I do have three pumps, but one of them is driven off the fan belt.

That lever you mentioned probably moves a swash plate which will provide fwd, rev, and braking.

Hyd pressure is determined by the load.

There should be a label or marking to identify the pumps.

My hyd system uses 10W-40 motor for all the hydraulics.

Does the engine run? If so, you can hook up some hyd for testing.

How do you plan to use the engine and pump setup.

If the gear pumps where made by Bosch their maybe some numbers on them that start with 051 or 0811, etc. This would be a Bosch number that a Bosch distributor could possibly use to identify the pumps IF they are not proprietary to JD. I don't think the variable pump is Bosch but it could be.

Yep, there we some numbers:

The green pump has number 70119-400
The middle pump has Bosch name on it and numbers: 0510365017 and 1518222466.
The last one has number 1518222164.

I tried to google those numbers "bosch <number>" but did not get any results.

Is there any Bosch website or other service that can be used to find out the pump types?

Engine runs fine, I removed the pumps from the engine to prevent any damage while testing engine.

I don't yet know what to do with the setup, maybe some kind of tracked vehicle with hydraulic drive motors...
I have one set of rubber tracks from army tracked vehicle, but engine has only 24HP and is probably not enough.

Front pump looks like an Eaton model number.

Bosch numbers: Possibly try contacting a local Bosch Rexroth distributor. If it is not proprietary they should be able to provide you the operating specs for those pumps.

good luck
