Get behind me, Satan! Getting better adjusted to the B2620 FEL BH so I'll probably stay with what I have, for now.:)
I keep seeing posts that bigger are/is better but I guess I'm the contrarian on that opinion. I'm not disputing that bigger CAN'T be better but just saying bigger isn't ALWAYS better. I went from a B3200 one time to a L3240 which for me was bad even though the L3240 was/is a Grand machine.
The BX25 is a fine all around machine for a good price. Lots of versatility but it is a Sub Compact Tractor with the limitations of a Sub Compact tractor but for me the best all around Sub Compact tractor available.
I've never owned any brand but Kubotas due to my research, personal experience and financial status as well as living in the same town as Barlows.:cool2:

Seems like you had the 2620 for a while now, just thought you might need a push towards another. Lol.

Hi Biff,
That's real nice. Do not worry about the dirt. That's the cheap part of ownership. Go enjoy your B 25. I have loved mine.

Oh yeah -- I just got a BXpanded Piranha toothbar that will get installed this weekend. I'm clearing brush and staking out where the house and pole barn are going to be!

I'll post more pics to this thread, because why not :)

In other news, a 60" mower deck popped up on Craigslist. I was thinking of going for it, but then another part of me was thinking that maybe I'll just get a cheapie garden tractor, that way I don't have to take attachments off (weight) just to mow the grass. Thoughts on mowing with a FEL and BH on?

Depends on where you are mowing I guess. A flat wide open field would be all right I guess but for me mowing around the house and yard I always take them off. I don't want the extra weight and the tractor is far more maneuverable without the loader and hoe. Removing the 60 " deck is not my favorite thing to do. When its on it usually stays on for the summer. It's kind of heavy and dragging it under the tractor is too much like work! LOL

For me, it's less on an issue taking the BH and/or FEL off as it is trying to go "off lawn" with the deck mounted. It gets hung up/high centered easily, or the anti-scalp wheels get hammered on trees/rocks/brush, etc. Much bigger pane mounting/dismounting the deck than any other attachment. Kept my old garden tractor for most of the mowing, so that's my suggesting anyway, if you can swing it.

I have had mine for a month now and I am amazed at the power in such a small package. I have meet some roots that the chain saw could not take care of. So far 1 small dent in the hood and I lost the caution bracket that attaches to the backhoe.

That bracket mount was the first thing I broke off my tractor (snapped the pipe clamp). I probably shouldn't have been using it to rip down trees but it was the most expedient way to get it done.

I kept my riding mower because it cost about as much as the mower deck for the tractor and is far more maneuverable. Even without the attachments, the BX has a large turning radius compared to my riding mower. Initially I looked at giving up the rider to get the mower deck but the more I use either, the more glad I am that I don't have to take attachments off all the time to switch configurations. Tractor + dedicated mower > tractor w/ mower deck IMO.

I wouldn't mow w the bh on personally. You could leave the fel on, but I can get mine off in seriously two minutes so why leave it.

In fact I've been doing so much work w. my B, I've been taking the deck on/off everytime I mow. Not the most convenient, but not hard either.

Does the bx require the 3pt lift arms for raising the deck? For me, swapping the 3pt on/off is the most time consuming.

I also use the Deere ZTR to mow. I was going to sell it for a deck but the wife said no. I was like why and she said I love to mow with it. I thought well she needs seat time to.
