To the OP -
I realize you don't WANT "used" but it seems that a lot of used Kubota's are pretty good. There's a dealer in Baton Rouge who advertises often on Craigs List.

Example:
Kubota L3200 Diesel Tractor, 32 Horse Power, Hydrostatic Transmission (No Clutching), 4 Wheel Drive, Kubota Quick Attach Front End Loader, ONLY 28 HOURS!! Like Brand New.... Cost over $21,000... Sacrifice for $15,900... I'm in Baton Rouge.
That's 28 hours of use, and figuring an initial out the door price of maybe $18K (15% off list) that's about $70/hour discount.

I've been drooling over his ads for a year before I finally got my M4700 in Virginia.

Also check out Barlow's Equipment.

When I was looking for my 40HP plus tractor they had REAL good prices, and I almost bought from them. They offer excellent service, are reliable and deliver all over the US for a pretty fair price. They have an excellent reputation here and although I've read probably hundreds of threads praising them. About the only negative thing about them I've read is by John Thomas, who at one time was almost addicted to trading tractors with them. :) I think he bought about a dozen from them :) I believe he's since recovered :)

I am willing to go up to $25K depending on the financing available.
I think 25K would get you a brand new G series LS tractor with back hoe or a Mahindra Max 25. I priced them a couple years back when I was contemplating getting my used B26 and I think that was about what I was quoted via email. I didn't look at them or personally check them out so I don't have any idea on how well they would fit ergonomically speaking. I was basically just checking to see what I could get for the same money and decided that used B26 professional grade TLB with less that 100 hours and most of it pulling a rotary cutter was better than new tractor with add on back hoe. So far I have not been disappointed.
There are lots of used tractors with just a few hours on them where folks bought new and finished up all their projects with no need to keep them. There is not much hidden items that can be damaged in less than 100 hours even with less than perfect maintenance. A good visual will spot most if not all superficial damage to a machine. Lot of that will be a good indication of a rough life and might be the machine to pass on, but I have seen many used machines that were pristine and well cared for, at $$thousand less than new.
Financing on new will be much cheaper than used with many times 0% interest, so new might be a better choice if you need to finance your purchase.

Do you have a Kioti dealer by you?

Murph,

I have seen the advertisements for a somewhat local Kioti dealer offering package deals including the trailer. Based on the models that you have listed, Kioti and Massey, it seems like you are a man who doesn't have a problem going off the beaten path...I mean no insult but am curious how you like the Kioti? I am in the process of truly comparing all of the makes/models down to the component level to see how the machines compare without being bedazzled by the Manufacturers' market recognition. Down here in the Houma/Thibodaux area, almost everything I seen so far is green with a little bit of orange where as in the Belle Chasse area it's mostly blue. However, there are two JD dealers and two Kubota dealers in the Houma/Thibodaux area and one NH dealership in Belle Chasse.

I went tractor shopping 2 years ago and found Kioti not only the best price but the best build and warranty. A loader that only LS comes close to in capacity for size. Kioti is where Kubota was 20 years ago. Off the beaten path? Maybe a tad. Have fun and good luck with what ever your choice is and if you need anymore thing, just ask.
