Price check on used 2009 GC2600 with attachments

Hey all,

Looking to get opinions on the price for this used Massey GC2600.

Per the seller:
2009 Super Massey Ferguson GC 2600 25 hp tractor for sale Used for light duty work on small acreage Has low hours (160) Diesel 4-wheel drive Hydro-static transmission PTO Shaft Front end loader, 60" mid mount mower, and Sovema tiller. $14,500 CAD

Tractor looks to be in mint shape. I know I was quoted a 2013 1705 at the dealer (22.5 HP) with FEL, mmm, tiller and rear mount snowblower for $19840 taxes in. I would need to add a rear mount snowblower to this used unit, it is 4 years old and is off of warranty by now I imagine. Local dealer says he would probably put it on the lot for $15,000 but that's not what he would give this guy in cash I'm sure.

Thoughts? I'm coming from an old Kubota L1501 so this would be a MAJOR improvement over my current setup. Thanks!

There is a used 2006 gc2300 w/loader, mower and front blower at our local JD dealer. 530 hours - they want $11,000. We paid $ 15,600 for our GC2310 TLB in 2006 - new.

I paid $13500 for a my new GC2400 with 60"MMM & FEL in the fall of 2010. Was told it would be another $550 to move up to a GC2600. The tiller is probably worth $1500 t0 $2000.

And I paid 13,750 for the same machine in May of 2010. USA prices aren't always cheaper.

Well, after demoing a new unit, then taking a look at the 2009 and noticing there was very little difference between the two, I struck a deal on the 2009 and took it home for $13,750. Which is approx. $7,000 less than the quote I got for the new model. Didn't know this before but this unit came with the quick attach for the rear 3 pt hitch. Used all the attachments in the yard yesterday and it works like new, so I'm a happy consumer!

Welcome, and I'm sure you'll love your new red toy...uh...TOOL. (Just kidding-- these are real work-horses, make no mistake.)

As far as warranty, I simply did my own repairs, all three of them. You tractor should hold up quite well.

OOPS- I just noticed my avatar is incorrect! My tractor is a 2007, not a 2005....??

Add a tiller and I would be paying more for the Cub Cadet than the machine that I got. Up here a brand name like MF or JD, Kubota, etc. commands a better resale value which is why I didn't look at the other brands; that's not to say that they are inferior it's just a fact that any other brand will sit a long time if I ever decide to sell.

I can get some pics up, but it pretty much looks like every GC2600 photo on the net!

Thanks Irving! It has gotten quite a workout already tilling a field full of weeds, I'm going pretty slow but I bet I could speed it up a bit. Sad to see my new tractor go from shiny clean to covered in dirt from the tiller : (
