you know the stuff. any reason not to just flip it over when one side gets rusty?

yup... might be ok on a roof over a bale of hay or something... but i wouldn't do it on a barn.

just a thought i had while (you guessed it) i was putting used 5v roofing on my little shed. you could put the screw in the v...right?

sure.. you CAN screy it down.. it just won't set flat on the purloins and runners.. it therefore may not seal end to end, and may rattle in the wind.. etc. if it is a single long piece for the runs.. may make less of a difference.. especially if it is just a top cover, open sided structure on the cheap.

I have seen commercial buildings done this way, but only on the walls. This was 26 guage steel.
