Good afternoon all. I would like to first thank all of those who have contributed to the 2210 repair threads. Great information, pics, part numbers and descriptions. I have learned a lot from your previous experience. Unfortunately I still had to replace my transmission cooling fan and did not want to split the tractor or pull the transmission out the back to get a $27 fan installed. After a bit of head scratching, I think I found the perfect solution: 20130816_111843.jpg20130816_111907.jpg

Just tap out the 2 pins from the bottom and the bar comes right out! If you already have the ROPS, floor and such already out, it seems pretty easy and now I don't have to worry about welding plastic or cutting up a perfect new fan!

I welcome any and all feedback!

"It looks like you have the drive shaft off. Did you remove front faring to get to the front coupling of the drive shaft?"

Yes, my drive shaft was trashed. There is a cover on the right side of the tractor behind the faring that reveals the front of the drive shaft. I found that a good set of snap ring pliers made it much easier to get the shaft out.. Not the easiest job to do, but I would certainly remove the drive shaft again to replace the fan if it was damaged. (when it gets damaged)
