One side of deck no longer raises

I have a JD 455 lawn tractor with a 60-inch deck. As of last night when I try to raise the deck, the right side (the side with the grass chute) raises but the other side does not fully raise.

It tries to raise but it seems like only the part closest to the tractor body raises - the outermost portion of the left side of the deck does not raise at all.

All of the lift mechanisms on the tractor seem to be working.

Any suggestions? Could a deck that needs to be leveled cause this?

They seem to be operating the same on both sides of the mower. I can't see any difference in how they are lifting.

I'm glad I don't do stupid things like that.......unless we count the time I looked for an hour for a 7/16 wrench.

I just had it here, did it grow legs and move away from home?
