First Kubota 4-wheel tractor, the T-15

First prototypes made in 1958 for testing. Mass production started in 1962. Has anyone seen one in the US?

Nice looking tractor.

One article said that there were about 1500 4-wheel tractors in Japan at the time, most imported from the US. They had tractors to copy.

Early 80's late 70's is when I saw my first one, high school buds dad had a late 70's bota 4X4, we skidded logs with it. I was impressed with it back then as I never recalled seeing many 4x4 tractors growing up, partially the smaller ones, then I saw what we (two 16 year olds) could do with that thing in the woods. I wanted one since then and got one 20 years later.

In the last pic, that steering resembles the Kioti 3054 steering arm. If I remember correctly, when turned hard left, the steering arm comes back by the clutch pedal. Been a while since I've been on one, but I remember that seemed odd. Anvil tough tractor though.
