Look here, at least they don't compare the max to a 50 year old tractor... Jack!
This really bugs the heck out of you, don't it. I would not be so worried about this crap. Lifes too short.
Um read your chart again, it also weighs less. Who Classifys these anyway?
I'll admit it bugged the crap out of me when they first came out with it, calling it an SCUT, and comparing it to the MF GC, BX, Deere 10 series etc.
But it seems they came up with a new classification. Mid-cut. And are now comparing it to larger tractors.
IT dont bug me as much anymore.
Bottom line is, as a shopper, you have to do your homework and look through all the smoke and mirrors and look at whats important to you. You can take 10 Tractors of 10 makes in similar size, and not a single one is going to be the best at everything. And I would bet that all 10 would have at least one spec or feature that was "best in class". But certainly not all specs.
The Max28Xl is a mid compact. They call the max 22 and 25 a sub compact.
Look at it again.

No. They are still comparing it to a SCUT.

Methinks that "Mid-CUT" is intended to mean midway between a SCUT and a CUT.How can that be possible? The heaviest CUTs have 50hp or so, and can weigh upwards of 5k lbs. the smallest CUTs tend to have around 30hp, and weigh 2k+. The Max is nowhere near the middle of that range.
