Wow. All I can say is Wow.

It's been close to 20 years, but the last time I got riled at our town Goverment, me and three friends ran for mayor and the three open alderman seats - all four of us got elected and then got to work making changes.

We ran as a team, and was elected in a landslide. Fired the city administrator, public works director, chief of police and city attorney. Cleaning house never felt so good!

Reading the BS that's going on in SE Virginia...I think I would be tempted to initiate change from within!!

It's a shame what this once fine country has become and the future doesn't look much better, The day will come when they will have angered one to many of their uneducated voters but that day will be not soon enough.

I have out of state friends visit a couple times a year.....some bring motorhomes or trailers. I hook them up to water and electricity.....never had a problem. Of course....never asked permission and never had anyone say a word. Sounds like just another bureaucratic law in order for your county to pocket more money.....

We just had 10 people camping in our back yard last weekend. One of the first things I inquired about when I bought my land was zoning laws. I was told there were no local zoning laws for our township and there are very few in our county. It's not for everyone though, you can see some pretty crappy looking places if you drive around in the country.

Whats funny is some state outlaw 'camping' on you're own land, but you can camp on Federal land with no problems.. Even if it right next door.
