Ive been reading posts and advice on tractors on here for a while now and today i decided I would join.though i will probably need more help than i could ever give i may be of assistance some day .I am a farmer in the west of Ireland and currently own a 2wd ford 7610 but am changing that next week for a case ih 885 xl 4wd.loosing a bit on the power front but due to the weather conditions of late i wasnt getting very far with the 2wd drive winter or summer.anyway thats me for now and looking forward to being part of the TBN community.

hi Dave.no crops unless you count the potatoes and other assorted types of veg to feed the family through the winter.im have only a few in calf cows and heifers and a couple of suckler calves along with a few bucket fed calves.i only have 40 acres and 10 of those are either rocky rough hill or bog.im on the look out at the minute to rent some more but land is being rented at a premium here at the minute so not ideal for a fella starting out.
