I managed to tweak one of the links that goes between the FEL piston, and the bucket on Sunday....totally my fault (hit a rock doing some backfill) so I started looking for replacement parts online. I called my dealer yesterday morning, and he quoted me $99 with tax, but wasn't sure on delivery time...had to call the warehouse. I'd already found the site below, so I called them to have a backup plan in place, and they quoted me $96, plus shipping. They said the part was in stock, and could get it shipped before the end of the week. Turns out they're one of the largest LS parts dealers in the country, and were very friendly/helpful. I also noted they have pretty good parts diagrams from slightly older models....might be useful. I try support my local dealers, but there are times when it's good to have a second supply source.

I went to that site GManBart, and I managed to download the complete parts manual for the R series tractors, pdf-680 pages. thanks for the info.

That site is actually owned and run by Sundowner Tractor.. an LS dealer. As for the parts manual.. they are for the older R series models. For example.. the R4041 won't be listed, just its predecessor. Although 99% of the parts are the same, the part numbers between both are different

I bet it's pretty common. Sundowner will fax or e-mail diagrams to help you get the correct part #s, so that's helpful
