Looking at New Holland

Decided I wanted to get a tractor before the end of summer so I can get started this fall on our 30 acres.

Stopped by the New Holland dealer and noticed the new WorkMaster 35 and 40's. Really like the rugged utility of these especially with the Shuttle Shift.

Any experience with them? I'm not brand loyal, would anything else compare to these tractors I should be looking at?

We have NH, JD, Kubota, KIOTI, and Yanmar within driving distance.

Do you have a LS dealer near you? Go try a Kioti DK 40 once.

look at the case farmall A series I just got some seat time on a 75c case I really like it it had the 12 speed shuddle shift it shifted like a sports car

The NH Workmaster 35 / 40's are LS sourced tractors. New Holland and Case are both owned by CNH, so the similar Case models are most likely LS too. Pick the best dealer for after-purchase service and have fun!

I'm a no nonesense kind of guy and leaning towards a gear drive shuttle shift. I think it makes most sense for the terrain that I have. Maybe I'm wrong. I have lots of woods and plan on dragging trees out with this tractor as well as normal work

Which LS did you compare, and which Case or NH? The Case Farmall B, NH Boomer series (minus 8N) and Workmaster 35/40 ARE LS tractors....oh, other than that Case and NH put weaker loaders on theirs.
