Buying Advice Help Me shop for a Kubota B-series

Check with Barlows and go from there, new and used. They made deliveries to NY last week and they will return. I to recommend pricing new unless you find that rare used low hours well maintained reasonably priced one and that particular one will be pretty close to the new price. The ragged out non maintained abused one with some major hidden issues will be a bit cheaper.:2cents:

Alright so for everyone talking me into new for only "a little more" i have gotten some quotes.
I like it when "only a couple bucks more" is slang for 2,000 bucks more. "going from a 2320 to a 2620, is only a couple bucks more"

Essex eq - 2320hst w/ fel - 16827 otd
emerich- 2620hst w/ fel - 17439 delivered
Salem farm - 2320 w/ fel 15,600 otd

Looking like buying new is 6,000+ more to me .... still waiting to hear back from barlows

Most Tier III emissions compliant tractor inventory is gone from dealer inventories.

New Tier IV emissions compliant tractors are 20% more expensive than the Tier III equivalents.

Sad but true.

So does the B2410 (teir 2 emissions) have less crap or just different emissions crap on it ?
Might be making a purchase this weekend.

Tier 2 compliant tractors are simpler than their successors in general but I have no experience, specifically, with a B2410.

General condition should be more important to you.

There are no emission mechanisms on the older tractors. What ever they did was done internally.

Local dealer got back to me with quote. I think he sent me dealer cost by mistake?
NET B2320HSD $ 10,628.00
Anyway he billed it out at 15k w/ loader after rebates, still have to add tax.

Barlows has plenty of the new previous tier emissions tractors. He keeps a big inventory of Kubotas since he sells so many all over the country. I saw them today when I was there.

I'm now the proud owner of a 2001 B2410. :cool2:

I'd have some better pictures but i promptly removed the deck and changed oil and started doing a good cleaning.
previous owner put about 100 hours on and didn't do much but grease fittings.
Owner before him on the other hand put dates on the filters when they were changed.
More pics to come

Congrats on the new tractor. If it is like my used B7500, you will get years of good service out of her.
