Buying Advice new kioti dk55 or used john deere 5225

I am interested in members thoughts which would be best, a new deadong[kioti] dk55 or a used johny 2552 with 3000 hrs but work shop checked and 15k cheaper and better dealer support and hopefully better resale value. replacing a massey 165 that has been a faultless tractor but I need to upgrade to a cabin tractor.

If the JD is $15k less right now, are you sure the resale value will be better?
Too, if you're buying a 3000 hr tractor, when are planning on reselling it? 6000 hrs? 10000 hrs? What is it going to be worth then?

I think that the resale value issue is played up. I suppose only time will tell, but what I found when I was shopping was that low-hour name-brand utility tractors are hot, don't come much cheaper than new, and don't take long to sell.

How is the dealer support better? Here they have super franchises. What are the prices of these machines? Why are you comparing against Kioti?

JD have 3 dealership within 60miles compared to 1 deadong dealership. Koiti is 45k compared to the JD at 30K both with cabs and FEL,but I am biased towards the Galloping Goat {JD}.

There is nothing wrong at all w/ Kioti. They build a very good tractor anf is at a good price. The only place
you really hear negative comments is on this site. I would rather have a new Kioti or equal tactor than a 3000 hr. Deere. A 4 yr. warranty, a new tractor. Contrary to what everyone thinks, Deere is not the only tractor out there. They break down too.

Seriously, I'd get the Kioti. Great product, new, solid warranty etc.

Funny. BTW: Take delivery of a DK40 tomorrow. Likely a world of difference from my Ck 25.

Honestly, good luck and enjoy the new tractor! The DKs are nice!
