Weathda I do not quite remember an exact time , but I am pretty sure it was only a couple of weeks. Was less than a month in any case. There were 2 options to ship it by boat and by air. I opted for the by air method because I remember him saying it would be significantly longer by boat, Over 2 months by IIRC. Air was significantly more expensive, but I remember thinking it was not totally out of line for the heavy parts and the difference in time.

Thanks for the response. I emailed Sushil last week and he said he had no ETA as it was being shipped from overseas but I thought surely he would have some idea?? He didn't offer a choice on the shipping method, but I sure hope it doesn't take 2 months!!

No part yet. Will be 6 weeks tomorrow. Sushil emailed me week and half ago and said Escorts has still not released the part yet so it's not even shipped yet...not sure if it ever will at this point. Thankfully, it's not that big a deal. It's the fuel tube assembly that runs between the primer and pump. The one on the far right.



Just this week I ordered a 12 and 14 mm barbed banjo fitting and will just make my own with a rubber hose and some clamps. Should've done that to begin with.

The previous owner had taken the tube off and when it was tightened back up the tube kinked and was all but split. I've since had some fuel issues and have taken the line on and off a few times and the kinked spot basically cried uncle and started leaking. I tried to have it welded, but the welder did an arc weld on it and it just didn't hold. Should've been silver soldered or brazed.

Although my pump is a little different we had a leak in that same line on our tractor. IIRC the bolts that held the pump on loosened and the pump was vibrating and it leaked at the solder line from the tube to the fitting. We brazed the line and got a new one under warranty. Ran it for a year and it never leaked before I changed it out 4 or 5 years ago. The old one is around here somewhere. Let me know if your fix works and I will ask dad if he remembers where he put it. May or may not be able to find it and may or may not be the same as yours..

I really appreciate that. I'll see how the rubber line works. Perhaps the one from ITP will come in one of these days and I'll have a backup. Thanks again!

Searched local carquest, napa and hose shop and no luck finding barbed banjo fittings. Resorted to the world wide web. Thanks belmetric.com. Just need to pick up some hose and clamps.

Back in business. Used 5/16" Gate's Barricade hose. I wrapped the hose with zip ties to keep it from kinking. On top of that I put a fabric loom to hide the ugly. She's purrin' like a kitten.
