gundoctor- I am not trying to start an arguement here but you are not having the problem that nearly all with QH's are having because you are not reallt using your's as a QH because of that top link adapter you are using. Your qh appears to be about the same design that has the clearence problem?

Oldstuff,
If you look closely at Dave's picture you will see he has about three times the amount of clearance compared to the OP's hitch. I just measured my IMatch and it has about 1 1/8 " space between the frame and the hook wall

Well if you had gotten a Land Pride QH it would work just fine. You now know why these off brand sell for less!!! The best is none to good.

Hi,

I have to say that your post is pretty much lacking in any helpfulness, (and in MY opinion, at least snotty and trollish) post to a new member who isaskingfor honest help.

Particularly when your picture shows that you can't use your toplink hook either!

Hi Fallon,

Take a close look at Dr, Dave's picture, it may help you too. It just requires a long top link pin, 2 appropriately drilled and shaped metal plates, (which couldeven have several sets of holes to match your needs, and the ability to sandwich your implement's top link with the plates. If I hadn't workd out my issues otherwise, I'd had done the same because no welding is required.

Thomas,
The steel plates in Dave's picture are to provide float for a brush mower. That is a separate issue from the hook which is clearly visible for most attachments. Some brush mowers have the flex built in so it could attach using the hook my prior Deere MX6 had the flex built in but my older Bush Hog was solid and I used a chain for the top link.

These are the plates I made to fit out-of-spec implements after I riveted my hook in place so it would go deeper. I didn't notice one was reversed for the photo.

bcp,
I would have added another set of ears below the originals at 15 inches and called it good.

I would have, too, if my welder was wired. :(

Anyway, I had the strap, drill press, and bit, and thought I would try this idea.
