Surely we are at the crest of Western civilization when a group of "feel good" people can command this much oxygen space in the media and pop culture to save a bird with a natural life expectancy not much longer than the trip back east.
I'm thinking chicken...it's what's for dinner.

I'm for humane treatment of all animals whether we intend to eat them or not, but the cure for that isn't a cross-country private jet flight. What a waste.

Oh boy! Chicken Air. . . one great clucking airlines! How many trips do you think they'll make before the whole plane permanently smells like chicken poop?

Perhaps PETA convinced this group to arrange this trip. I remember about 15 years ago, where PITA arranged a private jet trip for a SINGLE Lobster. The Lobster was bought from a restaurant. It was living in a large tank and was displayed in the lobby, because the Lobster was gigantic. It seems that the patrons of the restaurant , especially children,enjoyed watching the Lobster. It was on the news and even showed PETA releasing the Lobster back into the wild.
