I have a 2007, 3010 Trans 4x4 mule and have been looking for a snow plow set up. Not interested in the expensive hydraulic set ups since I have a winch to raise and lower the plow and have no problem getting my butt off the seat to rotate the plow left or right.
Any good or bad experience with certain brands? So far the Eagle brand looks pretty good and at a great price.

I have the Eagle plow on my 2011 Ranger 500. My winch lifts and lowers it but I went with the power angle that works off a electric actuator which is really nice when the conditions are bad. Very satisfied with the quality and ease of attaching the plow.

How much snow can you push?
I'm considering an Eagle plow (on a Gator 855D) rather then a FEL mounted plow. My only concern would be not enough weight (Gator weighs about 1500 lbs or so).

My Polaris has the cab with doors so it probably weighs about 1500. Lock it in 4 wheel drive and I never have an issue with not being able to push snow and its a 5' blade. Saying that I only push my concrete drive which is about 60' by 40'. The power angle is very much worth the extra money for us older guys.

It will push a lot.....this was a massive 16"+ snowfall and my 825i had absolutely no issues....granted I have a bit more power but I wasn't hardly working my Gator with that level of snow...the total storm was over 24" and I never broke my FEL out at all

It's an Eagle V plow in this video...their big weakness is the push frame...my RTV 500 didn't have any problems with it but the Gator is so much heavier and pushes so much more weight that I bent 2 push frames last winter....I got tired of buying new ones and ran it bent to finish the season.

I put a Boss hydraulic V plow on it for this year....the extra several inches of height and heavier construction will be nice to have.:cool2:

Thanks for the video and information...definitely about the pusher frame of the Eagle. Did it bend at the same place both times? And, if so, where? If I got with the the Eagle system, I could beef up the pusher frame.
Now, is that BOSS plow a better deal then the Deere plow? Looks like they're both pretty spendy.

The 855D has great torque, but definitely not the speed (or the thirst) of the 825i (neighbor has an 825i). I wanted a diesel but I did look at a few used gassers (Polaris Ranger 900 and 700, then several Deeres) first, since I didn't intend to purchase a new machine.
Must admit, that 825i sure does sound sweet!

If you do go for the BOSS plow, I might be interested in your Eagle.

Already went to Boss....I've already got it installed and it's ready to go. If you were closer to Maine the Eagle would be an easy transfer but shipping that would be pricey....it's heavy and large.
