Speaking of accupuncture was in the vet's office one day with my dog. A woman came in and asked if they did or knew of anyone that did accupuncture on an animal. Thought it was the craziest thing I had ever heard of till they told her a vet about 45 miles away did it.
Reading this thread one might think we be a clumsy lot![]()
Several years ago I was residing my house and I was up on a scaffold, 1 section (~6'). It was a ratty rental scaffold and I was standing there and I suddenly just started falling backward. I grabbed for the cross bars and it came off the studs right into my hand. That was my OH S%$T!!! moment. I landed flat on my back, knocking the wind out of me. I got up as quickly as I could and in a panic ran around to the door and had my daughter call 911. I ended up with a broken shoulder blade which the doctor said is the hardest bone in the body to break since it is wrapped completely in muscle. Ended up in a sling for 6 weeks and had to cancel our vacation to Canada and some great fishing. I went outside the next day to look at where I handed and my head landed about 12-15 inches from a concrete block. I broke out in a cold sweat when I saw that. I also realized that I had landed across some maple tree roots that were exposed and that is probably what caused the break.
Glad you're OK! Be Careful!!
