Behind schedule - moving quick - more later.

The baby won't turn over. Turn the click, hear a click, glow plug light goes on, no vroom vroom. Battery reading 12.57 and tried jumping it just in case. It's got to be a neutral safety switch or something, right?

Need this thing ASAP. Input GREATLY appreciated.

More details as I have 'em. Thanks fellas!

Could be one of the three safety switches; clutch pedal, PTO gear shift lever and range gear shift lever. Could also be starter relay or starter itself.

Agree. Or it could be a loose terminal or wire somewhere.

There is also a safety switch in the forward/reverse treddle. Make sure that is in the nutural position. The clutch safety switich is on the driver side if the engime. When you push the clutch you can see it accuate the switch. Make sure the metal flap is pushing against the button squarely.

Not sure the B21 has one in the treddle, at least the schematic doesn't show it. Might be moot anyway since the poster seems to have abandoned the thread.

I dont remember who sent it in, but the problem is most likely due to 12 volts not getting to the starter. The fix is adding a john deere (yes john deere) relay kit. please try to do a search for B2400 no start, and you will find all the details from a Kubota mechanic. I had the exact problem a few years back and the fix has worked flawlessly. the bottom line is that resistance builds up in the electrical system and only approx. 7-9 volts are getting to the starter motor. cleaning grounds etc will not fix the problem. the relay kit is approx $25.00 and literally took 15 minutes to install!

I Would first try by-passing everything, first make sure it is not in gear, then jump the start terminals and
see if it turns over. This elimates the solenoid, safety switch ect. If it turn over then start looking for safety
safety switches or a wiring problem.
