I have a Taishan/Jinma/Shandong tractor 25 hp.

I'm looking for a loader and came across a Great Bend 330. Any ideas if that will fit (does anyone have a great bend 330 on theirs:?)

FWIW, Shandong is the name of the Chinese company that makes TaiShan tractors. Jinma does not enter the equation. But relative to suitability, I'm wondering if the GB330 is perhaps too much loader for that tractor. What I've seen of that loader has been on tractors larger than a two cylinder TS254. I'm thinkin' a more appropriate size for yours might be a Koyker 120/125 or equivalent.

thanks i did contact them at coldwater...it is a very good price for those loaders being new..but it's about the shipping costs that really hurts. 1/5th the price.

greg- thats what i was thinking -even at $1k.. it is a bit of loader for the tractor...'m checking on those koyker's now..saw one in a tractor yard heap in Laveen guy wanted way too much for it... and just bought a Koyker backhoe..liking it.
thanks guys

Nothing wrong with the Koyker's here's a shot of mine carrying a good sized stick of fire wood- and it has over 20 years of use under its belt firewood load 2 2013 008.jpg and it is still going strong

Unless i'm mistaken they are still built in South Dakota, but the prices have gone up quite a bit over the years.. Good Luck in your search

hopefully you can find a good used unit and save some money It never ceases to amaze my how many new uses there are for a loader equipped tractor

Holy cow! I thought that picture was a fake when I opened it at first. How heavy would that log be?

Fairly heavy, but i'm pretty sure the smaller diameter birch i got in the same load were actually heavier- all the trees were alive when cut- and when i bucked up some of the birch water actually ran out, the loader picked it all up and non of it pushed the hydraulics into bypass although it was about as heavy as I would want to carry especially with the added weight of the grapple, here's what the trailer tires looked like firewood load 2 2013 002.jpg 10k load rated 5th wheel, not going to load it that heavy ever again either:laughing: at least it was only a 5 mile trip.

For the OP- just remembered that my FI has a Great Bend on his Yanmar and it has been a real good loader no problems to speak of.

I'm thinking it's a 24 or 26 Hp, it is a grey market and I think it has a 4 range and thinking, 3 speed power shift or shuttle shift?? there are quite a few models of Yanmar and i can't remember the # IIRC the loader is marked similarly to the Koykers in that it is either a 120 140 or 160 next time I over there I'll get a picture and the model #s of the tractor and loader .
