Kubota ballast box mods

A few more mods from the man cave.
-Little dolly, great for un-hitching and moving the loaded box around.
-Added a 1-7/8" ball to tow my little utility trailer around the house.
-Added a ground ripper bar using a 36" "Canadian Tire" crow bar, tried this last night, worked great. (I just have to tweek it a bit more and make it pretty...!!)

Nice work Mani. Some fill their box with concrete....some install 4 inch PVC pipes for tools. You may have already done a search on this subject. Myself, I leave mine empty and stored on a skid outdoors. I can muscle it around to hook it up. And then I add whatever weight may be necessary for the job at hand. This also leaves room for some tool handles etc. Once that box is permanently filled, it is one heavy beast. Just a thought....worth at least :2cents: cheers, Mike

Thanks Mike, i leave the box filled with concrete blocks. On a level, solid floor, that little dolly works awsome in quickly removing/mounting the box onto the 3pnt hitch as it is 10" high, well within the lower range of the 3 pnt hitch, no more need for blocking or skids. Got the idea from a chap out in NFd Land.
