I like the easy clip the vermeer has..

This will also be my first disc mower but I hear that really is a nice feature. Heck most things will be my first lol. Looks like I'll be doing my own hay next year.

You will like the Disc cutter if your use to a sickle bar. What baler are you going to be using? Only mistake I made was on my rake Vermeer WR22,going to look into getting new one next year.

you would be smart to put that 3pt cutter on a caddy.because if you dont have 3 tractors to keep the baling equipment hooked up.its going tobe a pain to hook an unhook the mower.

Here is a picture of one,they are great thing to have. 3pt if you don't get your cutter just right gotta fight it on. Depends on how many acres you'll be doing if really need it.

The only thing I don't like is hooking them up. Mine I about got it figured out,I put a block&2x4 under the skid closest to the 3pt and it levels the 3pt better. Sometimes can get no problem,other times neighbors can hear me cursing it. The caddy also makes cutting your corners easier.

I had 8grand left last year in farm money but put it on wifes new dodge,will be looking for a used one next year. Here is a picture of my cutter to get an idea how unlevel it sets. And the one side that's the lowest my 3pt won't evn go that low.
