I really like that interior mirror you installed, Thats really what the cab interiors are lacking. My mirror is always folded in due to branches knocking it around constantly

My lift arm levers have a piece of rubber tubing all around the lever from the factory to stop that annoying rattle (older narrow has the rattle!!!) I'm going to try rubber tubing wrapped around them to stop the rattling. Got to agree about the tool box its terrible and constantly rattles!! Kubota needs to change that. My 7040 has a plastic tool box and it doesn't rattle at all!

It was a fairly easy modification. I ordered two slightly longer bolts and used a proper spacer and that was the hardest part. It is nice to see cars coming up behind you while on the road but I have not used it much while in the field. That was my main reason though for installing it, added safety while on the road.

I'm going to try putting some 1/4" rubber between the tool box and the frame to see if that will help dampen the noise that is transferred.

I have a Grammer Air seat and am not that happy with it, very little padding. I was at another apple growers today and he had a different aftermarket seat that was really nice to sit on. Going to look into it. Anyone want to buy a Grammar air seat, 500 hours on it, really good deal!

When you find out more of the details about it please post the details as it may be of use to others.

Might also want to list the model number of the one you have as there are quite a few.

Grammar Air Seat MSG93 out of a Kubota Narrow tractor

Thanks, I sure wish I had known that, I have one in my garage to go in my L5740; could have saved me some money. 4shorts and mrmetalweld57 have them in their tractors and another member was looking for one not long ago.

I was just going to add to this thread, I now have a bit of time in a New Holland TN-85F, a Landini 85 hp orchard tractor that I can't recall the name of and my MF with the big radials almost rubbing the wheel liners and sometimes kissing the fuel tank. All have radials.

The long wheelbase of the NH is great for the bumps the front end goes over but the ride at the rear is terrible. Its worse than my little L5030HSTC Kubota. I'm not sure how one could operate it all day. It had a full rack of weights on the front and supersteer axle. Seat has maybe 2" of travel. Narrow stiff tires with lots of side toss, feels like you are sitting on the deck of a hay wagon going on gravel surfaces.

The Landini was the old style, pre-flat floor and had a loader. It was also rough as can be, the orchard cab so tight I tended to hit my head a lot. When carrying a load on the 3 point ride improved but not great.

My MF5455 with the tires moved in also rides much poorer. I was amazing how much head toss there is side to side. I hit my head on the pillar on the road going over a pothole. I will be setting the rims back out wide this fall. With about 3-5000 lbs on the three point the ride improves as the tires will finally soak up a bump.

Thanks for your reviews, before I hurt my back I enjoyed the tn-fs because of the long wheelbase. The cab is very tight but on that same token you couldn't get tossed too bad as you were basically getting hugged by the tractor. The room in the Deere, Kubota and deutz-fahr cabs is so much more spacious and inviting. It would be great to see a better suspended cab system on these narrows.
