foton 254 to much lights melted fuse box

Hi... The fuse box has 4 fuses

My question... I bought a universal fuse box, that has a bolt( for all live wires)? and only one wire needed to plug in per fuse.

In all there is 7 wires, the big red wire goes on ground bolt?

all live wires go on the bolt? the other wires on fuse?

Is that a mounting bolt or a bus bar bolt? Picture please.

You don't ground DC fuse boxes, but without a photo you won't get an accurate answer. The bolt could be for mounting, or it could be for a common 12v supply

Got a friend to wire it, 3 fuses ran on one small wire causing heat, so all rewired bigger wire grade.

Ok. And if you add additional lighting, it should either be run off a relay - or be separately fused.

The BOLT on the fuse box should be the MAIN HOT WIRE coming into it. It should be 10AWG or bigger for 30 amps. The fuses all have a bus that connects one side to the bolt the other side of the fuses are the wires that are protected by the fuses (one wire out.) Greg was correct the lights should have a RELAY (from the light switch power lights on turn ON the relay) the Relay turns ON the lights. 2 ea. 55 watt lights on 12 V should have a 15 amp fuse and 14 awg wiring

YES.. the bolt was the main red wire (30 amp fuse), not sure of wattage of bulbs but with size of wires installed the guy said i should not have any more issues.

weird part was the big red wire was plugged inline with a small green wire. maybe red wire is not cheap in china
