Hello to Tractorbynet members

Hello all,
I've read so many good and interesting threads here and wanted to become part of this wonderful fellowship. The wife and I live in southeastern Virginia. Friday afternoon (10/25/13), I took delivery of a 2013, John Deere 2032r, with a 62" on ramp mmm and mounting frame for a 200cx FEL. We had our grand kids all weekend so I haven't had time to play with it yet. I also own a 2008 JD 2305 with a 62C mmm with a 200cx FEL( this will be used by both the 2305 and the new 2032r). I also own a 1988 JD 655 with a 50" mmm, and a Furgerson 48" tiller and a JD 134 4ft blade.

I'm a new member and I don't know if this is the correct place but my JD2305 has a leaking hydraulic quick disconnect. As long as the FEL is attached it doesn't leak but if I disconnect the FEL and cut grass, one of the QD will leak. Do I need to change it or does anyone have suggestions

It sounds like the QD itself is leaking from around the ball not the threads. I think the only way to fix it is replace it.

You know what they say, the only difference between a man and a boy is the size and cost of the toys. My son is going to be taking the JD 655 to his house in a few weeks. I cut 6+ acres between my lawn and my mother-n-law's. I always like to have a back-up tractor in case one is out of commission.
