In my garden this morning I found an Israel melon that had been rolled around and was about a foot from where it was yesterday. There were no signs of scratching or biting on it, but there were 'coon tracks all around. I suppose they could have just been rolling it around from curiosity. Knock on wood, I have not lost a single melon to 'coons this year. We've had over a dozen really nice Israel melons and have 8-10 more on the vines. They've been great to eat and share with family and neighbors.
