... one more thought: was the letter sent certified? If not, throw it in the trash and pretend you never saw it. They don't mean business until they start sending you certified letters.

I had a employer that kept sending me Gas expense money. After the second month I called my ex Boss and said" If you stop sending me checks, I'll stop cashing them." I received a bill a week after that and tossed in that Trash. Never heard from them since.

I've never worked in a place that compensated you for unused sick pay. I used maybe one or two sick days per year, but was never compensated for sick pay when I resigned. Vacation hours owed are payable, but sick days are not.

Great! You don't have any records. My records show that I accrued 240 hours of sick time (80 hours per year * 3 years) and didn't use any. By my records, you owe ME $$$. I was going to let it slide, because it wasn't worth the hassle, but if you want to take me to court, that'll be fine.
