You may have to measure the nut. If you do I would sure like to know what you find. This question has been asked several times. I am sure it is metric but we can translate inches. I believe torque is 275 to 304 FT lbs.

I have a 2 1/4 inch but it is too big. the next size smaller is a 2 " which is really small I'm just guessing but it might be a 2 1/8 . Some body in this forum should have a service manual that would tell. If I find out I will surely post it. Thanks Winston

Like Winston said, It's going to be metric. somewhere between the 2 and 2 1/4. You may get a 2 1/16 or the 2 1/8 that you mention to work enough to get it off. I would buy the correct size for re torqueing

Do you have a used tool store in the nearest big city? When I need an expensive one time use tool like that big socket, I take in an armload of stuff I'll never use and barter it for what I need. Another alternative is Ebay.
You will have to determine size. 55mm socket from Northern Tool + Equipment 2.165"

I actually got it off using that 2 1/4 which was really too big but like you say I need something that fits right to torque it back.
