Nice mower congratulations, I think you will find it can trim around a small tree with one pass very well. I really have been happy with the 4x4ws on my x749.

THX I came across a local used X749 - that's what got me started on this - but it did not have the Auto Connect and was not in the great condition, but after a test drive, I really liked the tight turn, the ride and other features.

As you know the 4x4WS is now only available with gas. I seriously considered diesel, but didn't want to give up either the 4x4 or the 4WS. My wife enjoys driving the lawn tractor (with cart) around the yard when working on the flower beds etc but does not like diesel fumes. For myself, if the gas engine lasts even 500 hours that will be long past my lifetime. Fuel consumption is not a real factor since the 3320 does most of the cutting and the gas runs a bit quieter.

So essentially, with the X739 I get the features I wanted, the 0% promotion AND a happy wife.

Absolutely no cut problems. Gorgeous cut. Stripes great. Adjusting the deck is a bit fussy.
