Toolcat and V417

I didn't realize the 417 was that much lower than the Toolcat and surprised that it is barely longer than the Toolcat as well.

What does the 417 use for a suspension, if any? I've never seen one in person.

Also, what does that large red sticker above the Bobcat name on the driver's side of the cab say?

Yep, but it is twice as heavy!

Front axle solid, rear pivots just like a tractor front axle.

Also, what does that large red sticker above the Bobcat name on the driver's side of the cab say?

I too am also suprised the V417 looks smaller than the Toolcat.

I think it is because the cab is narrow and lower. The V417 is one foot wider and a little longer. After all it is classed as a Compact Telehandler.

Thanks, I wondered who made it. I have an older Bobcat 2200D UTV, it was made by Club Car.

Hooked this crane scale on a dead tree to see how much lift power the V417 has.

Used the stump bucket to push over a crooked tree. Didn't want to drag it down the driveway, so I chained it under the stump bucket, picked it up and backed down the driveway.

Installed this a year ago last month.

Pictures of the 7" monitor, with views from the front right camera.

Moving a round bale on 10-9-2013, can't see down low on the right.


The monitor shows the driveway.


Trees ahead.


The monitor shows that I will miss the trunks.

Good view, even with the sun shinning on part of the screen.

It switches to the rear camera when I pull the reverse lever.


The front camera is over the right wheel.


The rear camera is in the right tail light bracket.

That is still a cool setup. My salesman told me to stay away from the v417. Said it would ruin our relationship. How is it holding up for you?

So good so far! :thumbsup: It has 685 hours now. It had 44 hours when delivered 9-29-2010.

It has never been that clean again!

What could my salesman possibly be talking about with reliability? Ask him for specifics, I would like to know too.
