Trailer Mover Build

Very nice indeed, now just needs some paint:thumbsup:

I do have one question though about the 2.5x2.5 tube on top for the GN.

Was that seemless tube?? Did you test fit an insert before you welded it on??

I made a few of them out of 2.5x2.5 tube when at my old job. Just like the one you can buy @ tsc that are about 8" long or so. But 2" tube wouldnt fit with the seam. So I had to take a long end mill and knock the seam out (had to hit from both ends as the mill was only 6" long). Just wondering about your situation???

Thanks for the comments.

LD1, I used a die grinder with a deburring tool to clean up the inside of the 2.5x2.5 tube.

Log lifter attachment. with 5/16 grab hook and clevis. I need to make a plate for the lower receiver to keep a log from hitting the tractor.

Winch mount. The handle was made out of a leaf spring ubolt, the right side of the winch has a place to put your hand. I doubt I will use it on the tractor any but I can if I need. I am going to use it primarily on my car trailer. I also have a winch set up the same way for my 6x14 trailer.

I'll get some better pictures once everything is painted.

I needed to pick up my trailer to get the ramp out. I tried using the pallet forks on the BX but it would not lift it high enough. I put the log lifter on the trailer mover and was able to pick it up high enough.

Don't understand why you have to pick it up to get the ramp out?

Not to get it out but to remove it. They have a piece of angle welded to the end to keep you from pulling them all the way out. I had to pick the trailer up so I could tip the ramp down to remove it.

Okay, now I understand, you removed it.

Next question, why did you remove it?

It was bent, it was that way when I got it. So I straightened. I am going to sell the trailer.
