Anyone using GBC Gator tires?

Need to replace the Carlisle All Trail tires that came on our ranger EV.

The tread picks up gravel and throws it off of the driveway.

Planning to try the GBC Gator, 25-10-12.


Or Interco Interforce 27-7.5-12


Any info would be appreciated.

I bought a set of Dirt Devils for my old Honda 3 wheeler about 6 years ago and they got great traction and even now show no signs of wear or dry rot from sitting in the sun. So this spring I bought a set of 4 DD XTs for my Big Red SxS. I have to be a little careful as the moment they spin they start to dig. The ride is a little rough at slow speeds on pavement but the DDD are not radials. I stepped up from to the 26" tires simply because the lugs are taller than the 25" tires on the DD, not sure about the Gators. I'm very happy with them.

I too replaced my tires this summer on my Polaris Sportsman; I had used the Dirt Devils on a previous quad and loved them so I bought a set for my fronts. I then found another brand of all terrain tires for the rears at a decent price and went out on a limb for those. I bought them all at a Discount Tire dealership. The DDs were $69 each and the others were $32 (hard to pass that up) and I've been very pleased with each.

Decided to go with Interco Interforce 27-7.5-14 tires.


On ITP SS212 Black Alloy 14 x 6 wheels.

Replaced the Carlisle 25-9.5-12, with Interco Interforce 27-7.5-14, 6 ply, wheel and tire weigh 41 pounds.


Parked with diagonal wheels in a low ditch along the driveway. The left front is not touching the ground. Plenty of tire clearance on the front right .


Most of the weight is on the left rear, still good clearance.


Notice the sway bar is disconnected for maximum articulation.

They would be for looks right. Just like the bling bling weighty wheels. Pretty wheels. The scale says it all. In electric vehicles weight is a key issue. But they are pretty though. Are they oversized rims?

Replaced the stock 12" by 6" wide steel wheels with a 14" by 6" aluminum wheels, because 14" by 6" steel were not available.

Also could not find a 10" wide R1 12" tire.

Are you still happy with the Interforce tires? How hard are they on turf in pastures and such if your diff is locked? I'm looking at putting a set of these on my Honda Pioneer which has a locked rear diff so I'm a little scared to see what these would do riding around the house or in pastures making tight turns.
