Here is an explanation of the overrunning clutch. If a tractor doesn't have it, then when you mash the clutch, the inertia of the spinning mower blades turns the PTO shaft, which pushes the tractor forward.

Thanks for the replies. I will be buying their loader and hopefully a pose hole digger taht they sell new for $550.00. Thats all I will be able to get at first but the craigslist around here are loaded with farm equipment. I see all kinds of adds for "3 point" this and " 3 point "that. I have a question are all "3 points" the same. Some items asy things like a "CAT THREE POINT"?

If I am searching for implements what type of 3 point items am I looking for, for this Yanmar. And what do guys find to be the most common items you need. I would love a backhoe but its just not in the financial cards riight now. Maybe down the road.

For subcompact, compact, utility and farm tractors, there are four main classifications of 3 point lift systems. Category 0 (which is what the smaller subcompacts use), Category 1 (which is what the compacts and some of the larger subcompacts use) and Category 2 (used by some utility size and most farm size tractors). Some of the larger "compact" tractors and utility tractors have 3 point lift that are rated for Category 1 or 2. Category 4 is used by the big boy tractors (probably 150hp and over, but I'm not sure).

I know nothing about these Yanmars, but I would assume they are both Category 1. Call the seller and find out for sure.
