Went to get our tree. Parked tractor and hooked up the tree for the return trip back across the pasture. Hopped in the cab and no dash lights, temp guage or tach guage.

Where to start.... is this an easy fix?

Did it start? Wiggle the ignition key a bit.

Starts up. Glo light works. Front/rear cab lights work plus extra ones I installed, turn signals/4 ways work... problem solved... 20 amp fuse. Thank you for the reply. It was a bumpy ride through the woods... now to figure out why. Kinda worried... New England looks like it is getting a major storm this coming weekend... we will probably get whatever is left as it passes our way. Bloody cold here now -14.7 / wind-chill -16.1 Celsius. 6.6 F! Tractor started no problem... 5 year old battery too!

I would be really thinking about replacing that Battery, stay warm.

Why?
Kind of a waste to change out a battery that is working fine.
My original battery lasted 11 years.

I agree Lloyd, this is more like January, February weather.
Good luck on Sunday, looking for a foot of snow, wind only to 40 knots though.

I'm a Murphy, the farther away from the Barn the more chance I have to Break down. I change my Battery's at 7 years myself.

Diesel(with conditioner) is topped up, oiled and greased everything. Extra shear bolts and tools in cab. Generator is topped up and checked/started etc. We have lots of wood, food, coffee etc. The local grocery stores are going to be crazy tomorrow.

Glad you got it fixed. You guys make me love Tennessee's weather. Rain and 48 for today. It was sunny and 50 yesterday. I got the tractor out and cut up some wood for next year. Good luck and stay warm.

I swear this rain gets under my skin. I'd rather have it freeze up so I can get things done without slogging through the mire.:irked:

-5F? Pffft.. We were at -22F without the windchill. At that temp, I don't bother checking the windchill, it really doesn't matter anymore!
