the wind chimes are dinging away, playing a variety of melodies behind the house, in a steady 20mph wind.
the front is bearing down on DC and Baltimore now, will cross the Chesapeake ,and then might wake Toppop up.
Buppies is probably getting soaked right now. But it's so remarkably warm out that it appears the warmth is going North far enough to
warm up New England. But definitely not Wisconsin. I wonder if snow is the secret ingredient in Wisconsin's cheese...

I was up by 5:30, windy and almost hot. 70 now, may hit 75 before the front arrives, got to 70 yesterday, 38 by Christmas. Wore shorts all weekend, the ladies just love my gorgeous legs!:laughing:

Good Afternoon. 1455, mostly cloudy, 78* with 85% humidity. Forecast high of 80* with 80% chance of thunderstorms. I drove through a light rain coming in to work, but the main part of it is still off to the southwest of us. Looks like it will be here soon.

Because of all our crazy work schedules, {and my BIL wanting to spend Christmas morning with his grandkids} we had a Christmas Brunch this morning and exchanged gifts. The food was very good and everyone seemed to like their presents. My 85 year old Mamma even sampled the jar of moonshine one of Sister's clients had gave her. She pronounced it no where near as good as what they used to make.

23*F. The precipitation stopped around noon. We only have about 1/8" of ice build-up. The radar is predicting a passing blob of precipitation later this evening but it doesn't look very serious. I think we are out of the woods for heavy icing.
