Seen the 5085E yesterday, I am in love!

That is one sexy looking tractor, especially for an E series. The funny part is, it's cheaper to buy the 5085E then a 4x20 machine with a cab. I love that high hood. Once my truck is paid off I think I am going to snag one of these over a 4R series. The amount of machine you get for your money is amazing with the new 5E machines.

Yes, they are allot of bang for the buck compared to the 4x20's. I thought about it for awhile before I bought my 4720. But, I really wanted a hydrostatic tranny, and the 4x20 is quite a bit more manueverable. I do see a 5M or a 6R in my future, but I will definately be hanging on to my 4720.

I have a love for big equipment. Do you think a 5085E is too much machine for 7.8 acres? :):D

I have one on order, should have it first part of February. I hope its everything I want it to be. Buying it for a 120 farm.

How did you spec it out? If you don't mind me asking, what kind of price did you walk away paying?

Pretty much fully loaded. Cab, 260 loader, 3rd function, corner post exhaust, triples out the rear, sway bars, larger tires, Buddy seat, radio, air seat, ext. Close to 55k. Got real close to 18% off list.

Nope, might get into doing something that needs the power, ie haying, etc. Once you have it, you'll find a use for it!

Even if I don't, it will be one heck of a piece to show off when family and friends come over!

"everyone come out to the garage, I bought a SMALL tractor, come see it"

everything thats new and shiny is "sexy", put it in a field for 6 months and it will look like a "tractor" should. a good tractor should look like "i got my monies worth"!!!
