Excuse me, but isn't CO2 carbon dioxide, and moister (also called greenhouse gases) - the same gas plants take in, and animal breath out? I don't understand how carbons like "carbon monoxide" from burnings equate into this mix... Can someone please explain this to me, or is it all hyperbole?

This is the flawed premise all "believers" start all their "scientific " research with: All that Co2 has to be doing something, and it has to be bad.

No it doesn't. It's entirely possible, and the fact that the "scientists " keep making predictions that are wrong, illustrates the fact, that there is a lot more in play here than we understand.

It's entirely possible, just like in the case of the Gulf oil spill, nature may have the ability to deal with a lot more than the environmentalists want you to know.

BTW: Spend some time reading. There is a lot of scientific research supporting the "deniers' side of this. Of course, it is ignored and ridiculed by the "believers", as phony, so you won't have to accept any of it. But, you should stop "denying" that it's out there.

"Detrimental" and "has to be bad" are you folk's words, not mine. Why did you add them? I'd go with abnormal and more harmful than helpful.

All I said was there are two basic facts that deniers can work with to disprove global warming theories, or support their own claims. You have no answers about those facts, the ones that actually matter, and that is precisely why deniers are ignored. Show me a real, peer reviewed scientist who has disproved the idea that increasing greenhouse gases will result in a warmer planet, or that CO2 does not raise the acidity of the ocean.

Of course there is a lot at play here, and I do not claim that anyone has all the answers. The fact that no one has all the answers ought to be enough to heed a few warnings of what is happening and what could happen. And it is, individuals, businesses and governments around the world are looking at what it means to them, and what actions they might take.

On the other hand, deniers wish us to take a "don't worry, be happy" approach when they don't have any answers to the most basic facts. If you do not think the CO2 is going somewhere and causing some effect, we are out of the realm of science and into fairy tales.

This is the crux of the scare tactics used by AGW agenda proponents...along with an initial knee jerk reaction press...and not to mention blaming every (natural) extreme weather condition on AGW...

As long as mother nature continues to tell me I am right...I continue to say..."We Told You So"...now get over it...the smoke and mirrors the AGW was showing has collapsed...!

Are you familiar with a species of fish called Snook ? (Centropomidae)...there are several sub-species...all live in tropic to semi-tropic waters...

Along the West coast of FL they are common as far north as Tampa Bay but even in that region they are susceptible to freezing temperatures (several cases over the last couple of decades where hundreds of thousands succumbed to the cold...
...however, during a lapse in hard freezes in their regular northern limits they have been found much farther north...

just curious...are you a lobster-man? are you a fisherman?...the reason I ask is the fishermen,crabbers etc... are some of the most aware of natural cycles...how long have you been monitoring dem lobsters?

A: Since you want to parse words. Most "deniers" are NOT suggesting a "don't worry be happy approach" Your convenient perception, but not at all a fact. Contrary to the constant propaganda from the "believers", the overwhelming majority of people who disavow man made global warming, are not for polluted air, polluted water, and polluted land. They live in the same cities as the "believers", and have children of their own, who they want to see grow up and have their own children. I know it seems hard to believe, but it's true.

B: You need to have more than the "feeling" that it HAS to have an "abnormal" or "harmful" effect. And, more than a "consensus" of "scientists", (made up of mostly people paid to find a way to prove this result, rather than doing actual science), whom have at times shown willingness to, (I'll be kind here), be dishonest, as well as have been proven wrong, more often than not, in their predictions, to be allowed to inflict an extremest environmentalist agenda on people, and dramatically change their lives.

Seen a lot of evidence for and against CC/GW. What is true is there are fluctuations of climate and has been since earth was bit more than molten rock, so... then not long after earth was formed we spent a billion years pretty much frozen oceans everything to the equator (look up snowball earth lots of info there on it.) There are claims that the snowball earth was caused by runaway CO2 in atmosphere so maybe it wont Warm earth up but reflect more solar radiation at the to of the atmosphere rather than trapping it on the surface as many have thought. The Oceans actually absorb a great deal of CO2 and converts to carbonic Acid and settled back to the bottom of the oceans by way of sea shells and microscopic life. This is similar to how oil got to be there by the phytoplankton absorbing the light then dieing sinking and being buried by more layers. Releasing it into air as CO2 it becomes part of plants and gets stored while O2 is released & plants trap said carbon part of the carbon dioxide... IT is a CYCLE that has gone on hundreds of times earth heats up and CO2 is released plants & oceans absorb it and starts the cycle again.

What and Where/When we heat up is not as much of a concern as to when we COOL OFF and start to become snowball earth yet again... The SUN it's self is also in cyclical downturn (getting cooler) and will be over the next few decades & last hundreds of years (maybe more?)_ Forget global warming!? Most of what has been found was the CO2 is a very minor part of what goes on so not sure if that will be of real issue or not. Now I guess I should state I'm not a climatologist and dont have to come up with some theory to cover my billion dollar green peace grant given out by Al G...
