The Great Kubota vs Kioti Debate PART II

Same here, Larry. I've got a Kioti tractor, a Kubota tractor and a John Deere garden tractor. Back on the farm, we had Farmall, Deere, Allis Chalmers, Minneapolis Moline and Case tractors. Whatever gets the job done, I like 'em all.

Well, come to think of it, I still hate that old Allis Chalmers. My brother and I tried our best to kill it but never succeeded.

My "hate" tractor was a B John Deere. God help me, I hated that tractor!!!! Our little Fords would work circles around it. Nothing about it was good...... :(

We had a crank start Allis Chalmers that was the bane of our existence. It had steel wheels to use in new ground, man that thing was hard to start and rough as a cob, we sure were glad when dad sold it.

Wouldn't trade those memories for nothing.

Even though I was too young to mess with it at the time, I remember my dad fighting with a hand-crank Case tractor when I was a kid. I remember tugging on the rope to trip the old Sears and Roebuck 2-bottom trailer plows. Any Kubota or Kioti will be light years ahead of that machine.

Me either Richard.

Same here. I hated that tractor, but I enjoy the memories of the misery it inflicted on us. The darned ol' thing was sure good for building up your biceps trying to turn it, especially with a tricycle front end in soft ground.

I was driving it down the road one day at full road speed and, through my own fault, accidentally ran it off into a deep bar ditch, up the other side, through a barbed wire fence and into a field. It's a miracle it didn't turn over and kill me. Scared the jeepers out of me but didn't hurt the tractor at all. Darned old dura-tractor.

Ignorance and brand loyalty are very close cousins. My hope is that everybody chooses what they like and it works out for them but like was stated no machine is perfect! CJ

Congratulations, they are a nice machine. Safe tractoring!

i also get tired of the brand bashing. As long as the dang thing works, who cares what brand it is.

I bought my Kioti after alot of research, and so far am 100% pleased with it. I used to own a JD870, had it for 14 years, and liked it also.

All i personally want from a tractor is to start up and run. Thats all i need. I can give a fig as to POSSIBLE resale value, as i never plan on selling it
