I had always wanted a Kubota because I had heard of their reputation of being the cream of the crop. When it finally came time for me to buy my tractor I looked at them and was impressed but then I thought I should look around to check the competition out. I was really impressed with the Mihindra and the Kioti and the features that they offered. To me it was an easy choice over the Kubota for the Kubota. It may not be the choice everyone would make but it is the best for me. They are both great tractors and everyone sees something different in "their" tractor.

I own four Kubotas and obviously like them, but they have, in my opinion, gotten lazy and need to do some upgrades and improvements on some of their models or they will continue to lose sales. There are some models I wouldn't buy and would go with a Kioti or something else.

Gosh I hope not, but you may well be right. We own Case, Ford, John Deere, Kubota, Massey Ferguson and my brother owns a Kioti, I try to look at features and not brand. I am sure I have ruffled feathers, but it's certainly my intent.

I have 3 tractors and 3 brands.

Don't understand all the bashing. When growing up, my dad had Oliver, Case, Ford, John Deere, and Farmall tractors through the years and I may have missed one. My first tractor was an old Massey, then I had a Mahindra. I just bought my first new tractor - a Kioti DK40SE. Like most who buy them , it was based on features for price and their decent reputation. It suits my needs perfectly. Now, if I had found a different brand with more for less, I probably would have gone there (surely looked at them all in the area and couldn't at the time).
