Man Down -- Attacked by Squirrel

Well, not exactly.

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) Charleston County deputies say a 44-year-old woman angry at a man for not returning home with beer on Christmas beat and stabbed him with a ceramic squirrel.

Authorities said they found a man covered with blood when they arrived at 44-year-old Helen Williams's North Charleston home about 12:20 a.m. Wednesday. She told investigators the victim fell and cut himself, but she couldn't explain why her hands and clothes were also bloody.

Deputies say the victim told officers Williams was so angry when he didn't return with beer because stores were closed on Christmas Eve that she grabbed a ceramic squirrel, beat him in the head, then stabbed him in the shoulder and chest.

Williams remained in jail late Friday on a $10,000 bond.

Well he should have stocked up the day before.

After all he knew he had an alcoholic, psycho, girlfriend. He should have taken better care. Serves him right. I bet he gets the beer on time, next time.

It is too bad about the squirrel figurine.

I have heard some women referred to as "high maintenance." I believe Helen fits that description.

Yeah, I think i would look elsewhere for a companion.. That one is just a little unstable.

I agree. It would be hard to get some Sound Sleep when living in that environment.

This just goes to show that ceramic squirrels are dangerous and need to be controlled through adequate legislation to include background checks and limits on high capacity squirrels.
