Mine was good , worked in the shop til around 1:00am with a couple friends. Worked on the john deeres when the new year came ! Great night

Last night I went to sleep before midnight. But a neighbor was shooting off fireworks, so I did wake up.

Today Margie is in Panama City with Cousin Dee, Sister and Mamma shopping. I have the blackeyed peas on cooking slow while I watch bowls games on TV. They should be back in a couple of hours, {I'll try not to look at the receipts so I don't know what she spent} and I'll cook some rice and bread. Plus there is plenty of leftovers in the fridge.

I thought about walking back to my shooting house, but it's been raining most of the day. And {to me anyway}, the low 50's is cold here in NW Florida.

To hard to get in Norway need some exspensive Licenses to buy that stuff

I used to buy my powder at Walmart, back when I shot my muzzle loader more. It was no hassle at all then. Not sure what it would take today.

In Norway you must first take the hunting proficiency test, then you must seek permission from the police before you get to buy weapons it requires that you have clean criminal record. Only place you can buy amo including what you need to reload amo is in special hunting / fishing stores, where it is required that you show up license for the weapon you have and you can not buy cartridges to other calibers than the weapon you have. there is also a limit to how many weapons you can have. Shotguns must be designed so you can not have more than two cartridges in it.
To own handgun and revolvers you must in addition be a member of a shooting club and when the gun is not in use, there has been locked in the clubs safe. But I think that it is time to take subject to a separate thread so we do not hijack this thread

Spent new years on the Kubota and JD moving snow. Then sat by the fire and enjoyed wood we cut in spring and fall.

mine was a good as it could be
caught a cold on Mon and so for New Years my wife and daughter and I just watched some movies and vegged

Watched TV with wife, son and daughter in law till midnight, everyone hugged and wished happy new year to each other and then I went to bed. Earlier that night, Brother in law and sister came over to have supper and everyone had a glass of wine, except me (I hate wine) with their meal which was the only alcohol we had that night. We usually do the eating of 12 grapes routine at the stroke of midnight, but no one remembered to buy the grapes this year.
